1) WWW: You demonstrate good knowledge of some of the marketing techniques for Blinded By The Light including the use of Springsteen in the promotion of the film. You also largely cover the regulation of film too.

EBI: The key issue is the lack of specific reference to the CSP Blinded By The Light in Q3. The lack of statistics e.g. box office or budget figures is a significant issue. Ideally, your Q3 answer would have started with your final sentence about BBTL box office failure and then discussed how this shows the creative industries are a ‘risky business’.

. New technology is opening new ways to distribute films  and Blinded By The Light has now has an extended slot on Amazon Prime which will bring in some of the money it has lost.
. It generated great excitement at the Sundance Film Festival which resulted in an auction.
. It received a huge global campaign to try and turn it into the next Bend It Like Bechkam film.
